Clinical Psychologist

I've been a psychotherapist in private practice since 2015, seeing individual adults and couples. My approach is empirically based and somatic (in previous careers I was a scientist and a yoga teacher). My current focus with individuals is EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing), to reduce anxiety and reactivity to present day triggers that stems from past trauma. With couples and relationships I am solution focused, with additional emphasis on practicing communication skills in the sessions, being in tune with your own emotions and listening to each other's feelings.
