Biography

Dr. Mickell Lethco fell in love with neuropsychology while obtaining her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She utilizes her deep understanding of how brains work to inform her assessments, therapy, and community outreach. Dr. Lethco works closely with clients and their families to identify the true source of the problem and the solutions that work best based on the most up-to-date research and the unique circumstances and preferences of each client.

In addition to neuropsychology, she offers a unique background in music and art. She incorporates art and music into her psychotherapy sessions alongside evidence-based practices including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS).

Dr. Lethco has worked in a wide variety of settings, including schools, community mental health, private practice, and inpatient neurorehabilitation. She has completed assessments and provided therapy services across the lifespan for individuals with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, complex trauma, traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, expression and receptive language impairment, and spinal cord injury.

As a bilingual clinician, Dr. Lethco has worked with numerous monolingual Spanish-speaking immigrants, and she is passionate about providing culturally appropriate assessment and therapy to Latinx community members.
